Job summary

ASML is seeking an Imaging Engineering Intern in San Jose to work with experienced engineers on deep ultraviolet and extreme ultraviolet imaging concepts. You will evaluate imaging techniques, perform feasibility studies, and contribute to software solutions for customers in semiconductor manufacturing.

The role offers exposure to computational lithography, imaging algorithms, and product development within a collaborative engineering environment.

Qualifications

Pursuing a degree in CS, EE, physics, applied mathematics, or optical engineering.
Hands-on coursework or projects related to imaging, lithography, simulation, or data analysis.
Familiarity with Python, MATLAB, or similar environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

Support imaging product engineering activities focused on computational lithography.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate concepts and develop software capabilities.
Conduct feasibility studies of DUV and EUV imaging technologies; analyze simulation results.
Develop and enhance software features meeting customer requirements and product specs.
Create technical documentation including user guides and engineering reports.
Present findings from simulations to engineering teams and stakeholders.
Assist with prototype testing and data-driven evaluation of imaging concepts.
