Job summary

ASML US, LLC is seeking a Summer Intern in Mechanical Design Engineering to help design, build, and test parts of the EUV lithography light source and metrology. You will work on precision mechanical systems and opto-mechanics, delivering CAD drawings and detailed designs for manufacture.

The role involves collaborating with scientists and engineers to develop concepts, run tests, and document results, with opportunities to grow into technical leadership through hands-on project work.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering with at least 2 years completed.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and oral).
• Mechanical design exposure to kinematics, dynamics, materials, and structural analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document mechanical designs EUV test systems from concept to testing.
• Collaborate with project lead engineer to develop, analyze, and fabricate components/assemblies.
• Create mechanical system/subsystem specifications to meet performance requirements.
