Job summary

OSS Health is seeking an Imaging Patient Coordinator to efficiently process all imaging visits while delivering exceptional patient service. The role involves greeting patients, verifying demographics, handling insurance cards, and scheduling procedures across MRI, CT, US, and X-ray with attention to accuracy and timeliness.

The position requires at least a high school diploma and ideally one year in a medical setting, with strong computer and phone skills, and a team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience in the medical field preferred.
• Knowledge of medical and billing procedures helpful.
• Ability to use computer and phone system effectively.
• Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients/visitors professionally.
• Verifies patient demographics and updates charts.
• Scans/copies insurance cards and collects referrals.
• Registers patients for visits and schedules appointments.
• Answers phones and directs calls; covers other coordinators as needed.
• Provides on-call coverage for weekends/evenings.
• Maintains neat work area and processes billing-related information.
• Reviews orders for imaging (MRI/CT/US/X-ray) for errors.
• Uses Medent and Syngo daily; reviews imaging reports and charges.
• Manages imaging-related documentation and research requests as needed.
