Job summary

Well Care Community Health, Inc. radiology team seeks a Radiology Technologist/Sonography Support Specialist to provide clinical, operational and workflow support for imaging services within NEST Prenatal/Women's Health and AssessPOINT programs.

This role helps maintain safe, efficient, patient-centered imaging operations through scheduling coordination, QA activities, radiation safety, equipment readiness, and accurate image routing.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current state licensure as required for assigned modality.
• Current ARRT, ARDMS, or other credential(s) as applicable.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification if required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform approved imaging procedures within verified education, credentials, competencies, and privileges.
• Support imaging workflows for obstetric, gynecologic, and women's health services.
• Verify patient identity, orders, documentation, and imaging indications prior to service.
• Ensure patient preparation, positioning, protocols, and documentation meet standards.
• Maintain professional communication with patients, providers, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Adhere to radiation safety principles and ALARA practices.
• Report safety concerns and equipment issues through established channels.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and quality assurance activities.
• Monitor equipment performance and report malfunctions.
• Participate in quality improvement, accreditation readiness, and regulatory compliance.
