Job summary

UnityPoint Health-Meriter seeks an Imaging Management Assistant to handle image releases and reporting, image imports, PACS QA and cleanup, and to provide exceptional patient service in person and by phone. The role supports safety and regulatory initiatives within the Medical Imaging department.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and experience with medical information systems, anatomy knowledge, and strong medical terminology. A customer-focused, collaborative mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with medical information systems and processes.
• Knowledge of anatomy to identify images and procedures.
• Understanding of medical terminology.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage image releases and reports.
• Import images and perform PACS QA and cleanup.
• Provide patient customer service in person and by phone.
• Support safety and regulatory compliance initiatives in Medical Imaging.
• Collaborate with Imaging department on initiatives.
