Job summary

UnityPoint Health in Madison, WI seeks an Imaging Management Assistant to handle image management duties, release of images/reports, importing images, PACS QA, and support of safety and regulatory initiatives within Medical Imaging.

Responsibilities include patient customer service (in-person and by phone), collaboration with imaging staff, and ensuring accuracy and compliance in daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with medical information systems and processes.
• Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage image release and import for patient records.
• Perform PACS QA and image cleanup tasks.
• Provide in-person and telephone patient customer service.

The Imaging Management Assistant is responsible for image management duties (release of images/reports, importing images, PACs QA and clean-up, etc.), patient customer service (in-person and via phone), and supporting the Medical Imaging department initiatives of safety and regulatory compliance.
