Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Manager, Diagnostic Imaging to lead daily operations within the Imaging department. The role requires directing staff, overseeing scheduling, payroll, and performance management while ensuring compliance with policies and standards.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in a healthcare related field, including 3 years of leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or business related field.
• IEMA and ARRT or ARDMS or NMTCB certification required.
• CERT BLS required.
• Certification in area of specialty required.
• Must be able to work under pressure with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Develop departmental goals, standards, and objectives aligned with the organization’s strategic plan.
• Manage staff relations including performance management, scheduling, recruitment, and payroll.
• Monitor budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts, and vendor relations; justify needs for systems/equipment purchases.
• Assess quality of patient care and coordinate with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments; may provide patient care when necessary.
