Job summary

Middlesex Health in Connecticut is seeking a Radiology Coordinator to supervise imaging services within the Urgent Care modality, ensuring smooth daily operations and high patient care standards.

You will mentor technologists, perform QA/QC, coordinate equipment maintenance, and collaborate across departments to keep practices current. Graduate radiography program, ARRT, and CT license eligibility preferred; 38 hours weekly; leadership experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program.
• ARRT Certification/Eligible in good standing.
• State of Connecticut License/Eligible.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervise imaging operations and ensure QA across the Urgent Care modality.
• Serve as Medical Assistant to room patients: obtain vitals, reconcile meds, and interview patients.
• Mentor staff and students; provide coaching and training.
• Perform regular QC checks and coordinate machine maintenance.
• Record and address errors or incidents with technicians.
• Act as liaison between Radiology and Urgent Care clinics; ensure current practices.
• Use initiative and judgment to perform a range of imaging procedures; model professional behavior.
• Apply teamwork principles in all patient service activities.
