Job summary

Duke Health Cary is seeking a capable Imaging Supervisor to oversee modality-specific equipment operations, staffing, and patient scheduling within the Imaging Department. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and quality control in a dynamic clinical setting.

Qualifications

• ARRT/ARDMS/CCI/NMTCB certification required.
• Two years of supervisory or team-leader experience preferred.
• BLS certification required / preferred in imaging professions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and participate in complex technical activities for modality-specific equipment.
• Plan and schedule work for the assigned unit ensuring adequate staffing.
• Schedule patients for imaging examinations and explain procedures.
• Report changes in patient condition to attending physician.
• Assist in technique chart/protocol development to maintain image quality and ALARA.
• Review and compile operational statistics and reports.
• Provide instruction and consultation to students and employees.
