Job summary

Providence St Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA is seeking a part-time Diagnostics Imaging Assistant III to support the daily workflow in our Diagnostic Imaging department. This on-site role (0.75 FTE) involves patient care, room setup, and assisting radiologists, with responsibilities spanning clerical tasks, data collection, and RIS/PACS usage.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, 2 years in a DI-related role, PACS or RIS experience, and current BLS certification upon hire.

Qualifications

• Office and/or radiological department work with responsibilities for helping coordinate services, and demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Experience in radiology support roles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the supervisor with day-to-day workload in Diagnostic Imaging operations.
• Facilitate communication with patients, department staff and radiologists.
• Support QA/QI activities through data collection and evaluation.
• Operate RIS and PACS systems; assist in training new staff.
• Assist with radiographic exams, room setup, and patient care.
