Job summary

Providence St. Peter Hospital Olympia is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Assistant III to support daily radiology operations, assist patients, and prepare rooms. The role includes data collection for QA/QI, and use of RIS and PACS to manage images and reports.

You will train new staff on RIS/PACS and help ensure accurate, efficient storage, reporting and distribution of images, while supporting radiologists and department staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BLS by American Heart Association required upon hire.
• Experience coordinating radiology department services and leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiology staff with patient care and room setup.
• Support day-to-day diagnostic imaging operations and RIS.
• QA/QI data collection and evaluation, use of spreadsheets.
• Utilize PACS/RIS systems for image management and reporting.
