Job summary

Olympic Medical Center on Washington’s North Olympic Peninsula is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Aide. You will coordinate modality-specific patient procedures and transport from the procedure area, supporting in-patient and out-patient needs with timely, accurate scheduling and records management.

This role requires learning a broad knowledge base of examinations, making quick decisions with good judgment, and providing service with empathy to patients, families, and providers.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Post high school clerical vocational training or college coursework preferred.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire; medical terminology certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate modality-specific patient procedures and transport to and from the procedure area.
• Learn and retain knowledge of examinations performed in the modality and assist with scheduling and records as needed.
• Respond to providers, patients, and families with empathy and professionalism.

Education
