Qualifications
- BSN required, IL RN license, BLS certification.
- ADN acceptable with commitment to obtain BSN within 3 years.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Analytical abilities essential for nursing practice.
Responsibilities
- Assess and records patient status and identifies patient care needs upon admission/point of care entry.
- Organizes the assessment health data for accuracy and accessibility.
- Identifies problems needing immediate attention.
- Validates diagnoses with patient/family and health care team.
- Documents diagnoses and plan of care.
- Initiates and updates the Problem List and discharge plans.
- Communicates with patient/family and health care team members re: care.
