Job summary

Siemens Healthineers in Fort Myers is seeking a Field Service Technician - HW to perform preventive maintenance on Varian Medical Systems linear accelerators and imaging systems, ensuring optimal uptime and safety.

You will schedule activities, document work orders, manage parts, and communicate follow-up actions, with a focus on reliability and customer relationships, operating within VMS procedures.

Qualifications

• Excellent time management and professional communication with customers.
• Strong ability to build customer relationships through written and verbal skills.
• Frequent use of technical documentation and procedures.
• Basic knowledge of electro-mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and plumbing systems.
• Familiar with handheld test equipment like DVM/DMM and oscilloscopes.

Responsibilities

• Proactively perform periodic and preventive maintenance on Linear Accelerators and related equipment.
• Manage daily/weekly schedule to service systems within the region.
• Escalate incidents when needed and request assistance.
• Maintain field service documentation and manage parts and expenses.
• Communicate required follow-up actions to the assigned technician.
