Job summary

Cedars-Sinai is seeking a Materials Management professional to maintain par-level processes for imaging medications and oversee day-to-day inventory operations in peri-operative areas. You will collaborate with medical staff and other departments to ensure accurate inventory, safe handling, and data-driven decisions.

The role emphasizes tracking usage, lead times, and safety stock, with responsibilities spanning data input, storage, and process optimization to support high-quality patient care

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Materials Management, Shipping/Receiving/Distribution.
• Hospital inventory experience preferred; computer literacy in word processing and spreadsheets required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an efficient par-level process for imaging medications and ensure safe handling and storage.
• Oversee day-to-day product inventory operations for designated peri-operative areas.
• Collaborate with medical staff and Support Services across departments.
• Manage inventory discrepancies and conduct daily operational analysis using automated systems.
• Forecast usage, lead time, safety stock, and MIN/MAX quantities for assigned inventory.
