Responsibilities

The primary role of the Interventional Radiology Tech is to assist with patient care in the IR Department by providing technical support to the IR team.

• Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures
• Operate radiology equipment to obtain images as per physician instructions
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining sterile conditions
• Monitor patient responses and interpret diagnostic data
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
• Provide quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner
• Maintain accurate and legible patient records
