• Current license in good standing
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials
• At least 18 months of experience in Special Procedures/Interventional, preferably in a critical care setting
• Additional requirements as determined by the client facility

Duties and Responsibilities

The primary role of the Interventional Radiology Tech is to assist with patient care in the IR Department by providing technical support to the IR team.

• Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures
• Operate radiology equipment to obtain images as per physician specifications
• Assist physicians during procedures by monitoring, passing instruments, maintaining sterile fields, and evaluating diagnostic data
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
• Provide quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner
• Maintain an environment of excellence focused on patient care
• Accurately prepare and update patient records
