Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Three years of PC and/or digital imaging systems maintenance or support experience.
• Functional knowledge of digital imaging and printing systems.
• Functional knowledge of PC-based hardware platforms (RAM, processors, motherboard, HDD/SSD, CD-ROM, scanners, cameras, dye-sublimation printers).
• Attention to color reproduction accuracy and defect detection in printed images.
• Ability to use calibration tools and test instruments.
• Ability to take direction and follow instructions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain knowledge of changing platforms and read ECO/ECR/CAR docs.
• Ability to work well with coworkers and maintain customer relations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, repairs, and reports status of digital imaging and printing systems.
• Provides technical support and internal training for imaging hardware and peripherals.
• Troubleshoots hardware to sub-assembly level and replaces defective components.
• Maintains color reproduction accuracy through printer/camera alignment.
• Reinstalls OS and imaging software; configures to factory defaults or customer specs.
• Maintains inventory of field-replacement equipment for warranty support.
• Documents anomalies and repair actions in reports and systems.
• Meets repair quality standards and production goals.
• Assists Customer Service with inquiries about imaging systems.
• Supports system and kiosk assembly to meet production requirements.
• Performs production duties including equipment assembly, testing, packing, and kitting.
• Seeks guidance from leads to improve performance.
