Qualifications

• Proven ability to resolve issues caused by basic technologist errors.
• Strong internal/external relationship management.
• Active motor vehicle license required by residence state.
• Degree in engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience servicing ultrasound, CT, MR, nuclear medicine, and/or X-ray/vascular modalities.
• At least several years in field technical support and region-wide support.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and phone support to address installation, application and technical issues.
• Escalate issues to National Technical Support per protocol.
• Participate in modality conference calls and keep region FSEs informed.
• Review Field Service Memos and SIS content for regional staff.
• Assist in installing new products within the region.
• Support FMI beta testing and ensure timely completion.
• Prepare sites for inspections and support on-site during reviews.
• Monitor high call volumes and conduct site audits to uncover causes.
• Conduct on-the-job training to build senior regional FSEs and mentor others.
• Define training needs and provide supplemental technical training and seminars.
• Review systems for image quality and performance; implement enhancements.
• Gather input on product issues and escalate to NTS with zone management.
• Provide timely technical documentation and share information with frontline staff.
