Job summary

nGenium is seeking an Imaging Field Service Engineer Trainee (Entry Level) to learn installation, troubleshooting and servicing of diagnostic imaging systems across a multi-state territory.

You will support X-ray, CT, MRI and mammography equipment, perform preventative maintenance, document service activity and build strong customer relationships while travelling up to four days a week. Based in Grimes, IA, training will be structured and career growth offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate or trade school background in electrical, mechanical, biomedical, electronics or a related discipline.
• Interest in diagnostic imaging and a strong desire to develop into an Imaging Field Service Engineer.
• Ability to troubleshoot, learn quickly and follow structured technical training.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Willingness to travel throughout Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan and Indiana.
• Comfortable with overnight travel three to four days per week when supporting installations.
• Able to work from the Grimes office when not travelling.

Responsibilities

• Learn to install, troubleshoot and service diagnostic imaging systems.
• Support X-ray, CT, MRI and mammography equipment.
• Complete preventative maintenance and basic repairs.
• Document service activity and build strong customer relationships.
• When not on installations, base in Grimes office to unbox, prepare and test equipment for upcoming projects.
