Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician to perform PM and CM on diagnostic imaging equipment throughout the facility. You will assist with planning and installation of imaging systems and ensure safe operation for radiology staff.

The role requires 1–2 years of hands-on maintenance experience, basic radiation physics knowledge, and ability to collaborate across teams. On-call rotating coverage and adherence to safety standards are included.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in medical electronics, imaging service technology, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance on diagnostic imaging equipment.
• Knowledge of radiation physics, medical terminology and relevant regulations.
• Familiarity with OSHA, NFPA, Joint Commission and FDA standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on diagnostic imaging equipment as assigned.
• Coordinate repairs with vendors and users; handle documentation and follow-up.
• Attend training and provide in-service to staff on safe operation of radiology equipment.
• Assist in planning, installing and upgrading imaging equipment within CE guidelines.
