Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in medical electronics or imaging service technology or equivalent
• 3+ years of maintenance on nuclear medicine, diagnostic x-ray, therapeutic x-ray, ultrasound, or radiation therapy equipment
• Specialized training by manufacturer or third-party in relevant equipment
• Knowledge of radiation physics, medical terminology, instrumentation and CFR 21 rules

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair imaging equipment including nuclear medicine, ultrasound, CT, and radiology systems.
• Order parts and coordinate with vendors for repairs.
• Provide training to radiology staff on safe and proper equipment use.
• Participate in after-hours on-call coverage as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
