Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a Biomedical Imaging Specialist I to perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and repair on imaging equipment and related systems. The role includes maintaining device records, scheduling work-orders, and supporting clinical engineering teams.

You will participate in on-call rotations, work with external vendors, and stay current with safety and equipment training while traveling to multiple hospital sites as required.

Qualifications

• PM workload completed to maintain high PM compliance over time.
• Maintains accurate device control records and correct work-order data.
• Identifies parts and resources to service equipment cost-effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and calibration on imaging equipment and related systems.
• Repair defective equipment and test functionality post-service.
• Provide in-service training and assist outside service providers.
• Attend vendor training and participate in special projects as needed.
• Conform to flexible work schedule and participate in on-call rotation.
