Job summary

TriMedx is seeking a BMET/ISE Hybrid to install, inspect, repair, calibrate, and verify performance of complex biomedical and medical imaging equipment. You will ensure regulatory compliance, assist in inventory management, and advise clinical staff on proper operation of equipment.

The role requires strong computer skills, MS Office proficiency, and a valid driver’s license, with travel to various sites. A 2-year technical/electronics degree is required; a Bachelor’s in engineering technology

Qualifications

• 2 year degree in a technical/electronics field or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering technology preferred.
• Technical Certification preferred.
• Waiver possible if TRIMEDX Trained Certification or equivalent biomedical cert is completed.

Responsibilities

• Perform PV inspections, scheduled maintenance, electrical safety inspections, and operation verification on complex biomedical/medical imaging equipment.
• Repair, install, and calibrate equipment; communicate repair status to supervisors.
• Direct and document activities of subcontractors and outside service technicians to ensure proper service delivery.
• Maintain equipment database inventory, PV schedules, nomenclature, and service history; assist on special projects.
• Act as primary responder to service calls and triage repair needs for imaging and biomedical equipment.
