Trimedx seeks an Imaging Engineer III to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify performance of advanced medical imaging equipment (MRI, CT, Cath-Labs, Radiation Oncology). The role supports clinical staff in safe operation and regulatory compliance across modalities.

Qualifications

• 2 year degree in technical/electronics field or equivalent experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform PA inspections, scheduled maintenance, and operation verification procedures on complex medical imaging equipment.
• Repair, install, and calibrate complex medical imaging equipment and systems.
• Inform supervisors of the status of repairs, scheduled inspections, and unusual equipment situations.
• Coordinate activities of subcontractors, vendors, and outside service technicians to ensure proper service delivery.
• Maintain Clinical Engineering expertise through ongoing training and education.
• Lead Service Operations Special Projects and mentor others by sharing expertise.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain the equipment database (inventory, PA schedules, nomenclature, service history).
• Build and maintain customer relationships; discuss equipment status with clinicians.
• Perform Incoming Inspections to maintain complete inventory of medical devices; maintain accuracy of inventory database.
• Make recommendations regarding inventory.
