Job summary

TriMedx, LLC is seeking an Imaging Engineer II in Springfield, IL. You will repair, calibrate, and verify advanced imaging systems, supporting clinicians and ensuring regulatory accuracy. This role requires hands-on expertise and the ability to mentor others while maintaining inventory for uptime.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in imaging equipment service and a technical/electronics degree. Travel and lifting up to 50 lbs are required; drivers license is necessary.

Qualifications

• 3+ years repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting medical imaging equipment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and networking basics.
• Valid driver's license; travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Repair, calibrate, and verify complex imaging systems to restore confidence in scans.
• Lead regulatory accuracy: radiation outputs, docs, and DB integrity.
• Serve as technical voice for clinicians when equipment affects decisions.
• Mentor colleagues, guide vendors, and manage inventory to keep equipment up.
