Job summary

Bayhealth is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging (DI) Procedure Coordinator for the Milford campus to optimize preprocedural data collection and scheduling for interventional and non-invasive procedures. You will verify missing patient information, coordinate with physicians, radiology, anesthesia, and OR staff, and ensure timely receipt of records within 48-72 hours of the planned date of service.

This role requires attention to detail, HIPAA compliance, and proficiency with EMR and scheduling

Qualifications

• Experience with medical scheduling in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to verify patient information and ensure documentation completeness.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and patient privacy.

Responsibilities

• Manage electronic work lists to ensure timely scheduling.
• Review patient charts for DOB, procedure date, orders and tests.
• Coordinate imaging and DI procedures with Radiology and Anesthesia as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient data and compliance reporting.
• Prepare reports for modality supervisors and clinicians.
