Job summary

Omega Computer Services is seeking a full-time IT Deployment & Inventory Technician in Michigan. The role focuses on imaging, configuring, and preparing hardware for onboarding and ongoing client support.

You will maintain accurate inventory, manage device records, and coordinate with teams for timely deployments. Based in-house with occasional client-site travel, you will ensure devices are imaging right, configured correctly, and ready for customers from day one.

Qualifications

• Experience with imaging tools (MDT or similar) or IT deployment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling multiple devices.
• Comfortable with travel to client sites and physical lifting of equipment.
• Willingness to learn internal systems (ITGlue, FreshDesk, Hudu).

Responsibilities

• Image, configure, and test workstations and devices using MDT and imaging standards.
• Prepare equipment for client onboarding and re-onboarding projects.
• Troubleshoot imaging/configuration issues before shipment or installation.
• Install and set up hardware for onboarding and on-site deployments as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and track serial numbers across clients.
• Document deployments and log work in the ticketing system; follow imaging checklists.
