Job summary

TMG Global is seeking a Contract Desktop Deployment Technician in the Miami area. Responsibilities include deploying and imaging desktops and laptops, troubleshooting hardware and OS issues, and providing Go‑Live support on deployment projects.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or related field preferred.
• CompTIA A+ Certification strongly recommended.
• 3–5 years of hands-on desktop/laptop support and device deployment.
• Additional certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator, or ITIL Foundation are a plus.
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting, operating systems, network fundamentals, and IDF/MDF patching.
• Experience with technical documentation, IT inventory management, and data port tracking.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and travel to project sites in Miami, FL.
• 1099 contractor role; on-site; own taxes, insurance, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and image desktops/laptops and configure end-user devices.
• Troubleshoot hardware, OS, and network issues during deployment.
• Track assets, manage punch lists, and provide Go‑Live support.
• Document procedures and maintain IT inventory records.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure successful deployment projects.
