Qualifications

• Language skills to read, analyze, interpret and communicate clinical information.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
• Reasoning ability to define problems, collect data and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to implement critical thinking in clinical support tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safety for patients, self and others.
• Completes patient-related duties with attention to patient safety needs.
• Assist with patient transport to imaging department to ensure timely arrival.
• Clean exam rooms, imaging equipment and surroundings and follow disinfection protocols.
• Transports specimens, supplies and materials between departments.
• Restocks supply areas and ensures date validity.
• Prepares exam rooms and fluoroscopy rooms with required supplies.
• Assist at desk, answer phones and perform other duties as needed.
• Position patients safely under supervision of Radiologic Technologist or Physician.
