Job summary

Canon Medical Systems USA, Inc. seeks a Clin Apps Spec to lead the final implementation and training for CMSU modalities. You will coordinate with doctors, nurses, and technologists to maximize proficiency and satisfaction with CMSU products and services.

The role requires radiologic technology credentials and several years of clinical experience, with authority to manage training plans, communicate with stakeholders, and escalate performance issues as needed.

Qualifications

• 2-year/associate's degree Radiologic Technologist in the specific modality.
• ARRT radiologic technologist certification for the modality being supported.

Responsibilities

• Be the project manager for the final step in the implementation of a CMSU diagnostic imaging modality at each location.
• Develop the training plan and manage the training process for doctors, nurses, and technologists to maximize CMSU product utilization.
• Consult with physicians to optimize work flow, image acquisition, and protocols for customer satisfaction.
• Determine whether the client needs additional training and prepare training as required.
• Maintain contact as the primary clinical contact for CMSU at each facility for follow-up and needs.
• Complete site reports documenting daily training details.
• Provide pre/post communications for internal and external customers.
• Maintain technical and clinical proficiency and diagnose issues affecting system performance and image quality.
• Escalate unresolved issues pertaining to system performance and image quality.
• Collaborate with service engineers as needed.
• Complete alerts and PCR when applicable.
• Provide mid-week updates to Applications Management and local Canon Team.
