Job summary

SSM Health St. Clare Hospital - Fenton is seeking a Regular, full-time MRI support professional to assist technologists in the imaging department. You will help transport, position, and prep patients, while ensuring data integrity and image quality for PACS submissions.

Responsibilities include patient screening, IV starts, and education related to examinations, plus maintaining a clean, safe department and supporting equipment function. Evening shifts are common.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; 10 years of work experience may substitute education.
• No experience required for this MRI support role.

Responsibilities

• Assist technologists in imaging department operations.
• Transport, prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Pre-screen patients, start IVs, schedule and educate patients related to examinations.
• Enter and monitor patient data; transfer images to PACS.
• Support equipment maintenance and maintain department cleanliness.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
