Provides patient-centered care across all areas of Imaging Services. Clerical duties may include reception, wayfinding, registration, insurance verification, documentation in EMR, and proper phone etiquette. Patient care duties may include clear communication by phone and in person to prepare patients for studies, monitoring inpatients, assisting with basic needs, transporting patients to and from the imaging department, and assisting technologists with imaging studies. Other duties as assigned.
One year experience in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Ability to concentrate, pay close attention to detail, use medical support equipment, understand instructions, give clear directions, and have good listening skills. Knowledge of basic medical terminology and human anatomy is required.
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent required within 90 days of hire.
