Job summary

KLA in Milpitas, CA is seeking an electrical design engineer to advance camera development for Sensor Test. You will lead hands-on testing and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

You’ll implement sensor test strategies, develop tests in Matlab/Python/LabVIEW/Excel, and ensure sensor performance meets reliability targets.

Ideal candidates hold a Doctorate/Master/Bachelor with related experience and have strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Doctorate/masters/bachelors with related work experience as minimum qualifications.
• Experience with CMOS/CCD sensor testing and camera systems preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Test and characterize sophisticated image sensors and cameras.
• Generate sensor test requirements.
• Develop tests in MATLAB/Python/LabVIEW/Excel.
• Integrate and modify sensor test fixtures.
• Collaborate with manufacturing partners.
• Verify sensor performance and reliability and integrate camera sub-system.
