KLA is seeking an Image Sensor and Camera Electronics Scientist to join the CTO Office in Milpitas, CA. You will lead R&D projects across image sensor technologies, collaborating with vendors and internal teams to push the product roadmap and deliver high-impact experimental results.

You will design prototype sensors and test structures, develop characterization setups for electrical and optical tests, and communicate concrete conclusions. Strong lab experience and software skills are essential.

Qualificações

• Experience with CCD/CMOS image sensors and camera systems.
• Hands-on lab experience building and operating sensor test setups.
• Design/simulation of analog and digital circuits for high-speed, low-noise sensor readout PCBs.
• Software development for test-setup automation and data analysis.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead R&D projects of image sensor and camera electronics to advance product roadmap.
• Collaborate with strategic vendors to develop next‑gen image sensor technologies.
• Design prototype sensors and test structures.
• Develop test setups for electrical and optical characterization including high-speed PCBs.
• Design, run experiments, analyze data and present conclusions.
