Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Charlestown, MA is seeking a compassionate Part-time Veterinary Technician to join our Internal Medicine team. The role includes CRIs administration, anesthesia monitoring, and advanced imaging support with ultrasound and radiology.

You will provide client education, discharge support, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and readiness. A licensed veterinary technician with VTNE/VTS support is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed veterinary technician or eligible for licensure.
• Experience with anesthesia induction and monitoring.
• Strong medical math and CRI calculations.
• Excellent client communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, calculate, and administer CRIs accurately.
• Perform medical math calculations to support care.
• Induce, monitor, and recover patients under anesthesia.
• Prepare patients/equipment for imaging (ultrasound/radiology).
• Assist endoscopic procedures and post-procedure care.
• Provide discharge support and client education.
• Maintain organization and readiness within the service.
• Adapt to a fast-paced Internal Medicine service.
