Job summary

Vicinity Energy in Baltimore, MD is hiring an IM&E Technician to maintain electrical systems, instrumentation, controls, and plant equipment. This full-time, union role reports to the Maintenance Manager and offers $44.77 per hour plus a 10% bonus target.

Primary duties include troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and updating diagrams and control plans for plant operations. Requires 2+ years in central plant or process-plant maintenance and a trade/technical electronics background.

Qualifications

• Technical or trade school degree in electronics or equivalent training.
• Minimum 2 years of progressive maintenance/repair experience in central plant, power generation, or other process plants.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe working conditions in accordance with company policies.
• Identify, report and correct unsafe work environments.
• Comply with environmental regulations.
• Operate hand and power tools competently.
• Maintain and repair boilers, chillers, compressors, pumps, and related plant equipment.
