Job summary

Hadley Designs is seeking an early-career Illustration & Product Design Assistant to turn the Chief Creative Officer’s vision into finished, on-style artwork. You will help expand our catalog with new art that fits our cute, kid-friendly aesthetic, in a remote, fast-moving environment.

You will learn our style quickly, take direction cleanly, and carry pieces through production-ready stages, widening our creative capacity and fueling monthly product launches.

Qualifications

• Portfolio of original illustration showing a cute, kid-friendly design style.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator for native illustration work.
• Ability to match and extend an existing art style and complete sets.
• Strong ability to take written and verbal creative direction and translate it into finished work.
• Reliable with deadlines while managing multiple pieces.

Responsibilities

• Create new artwork and complete sets in Hadley Designs’ established style across product lines.
• Turn concepts into finished, production-ready product designs.
• Prepare print and production files to spec and build mockups for listings.
• Maintain consistency of style across the full product catalog.
