Illini Environmental/O6 Environmental is currently seeking highly motivated Class A CDL Drivers with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements looking to work for a progressive, fast-growing company. Illini Environmental, Inc. has invested in new equipment and technology to ensure our drivers have the best tools available to serve our customers. Our fleet averages 2019 and newer with new equipment being added annually.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform daily pre-/post-trip inspections on vehicles and equipment, inspecting vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues.
• Report any deficiencies to full-time mechanic staff for repairs.
• Comply with federal, state, and local rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
• Document and log work/rest periods, miles spent driving, retain fuel receipts, and incident/accident reports as necessary.
• Complete pre-printed shipping documents in an orderly manner.
• Operate vehicles and equipment in a safe, courteous manner while interacting directly with customers/staff in a customer service-oriented manner.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid Class A CDL drivers license.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (or willing to obtain both post-employment).
• 2 years verifiable experience and at least 23 years of age.
• Safe and verifiable driving history with no significant recent violations.
• Ability to pass Company physical and alcohol/drug screenings.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local rules and regulations.
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc).
