Job summary

Children's Hope Alliance in Charlotte, NC, seeks an IIH Team Lead to guide a clinical team delivering home-based services that keep families together and thriving. You will mentor staff, oversee assessments and treatment planning, and ensure high-quality care in a fast-paced, impact-driven environment.

In this role, you will lead a team through supervision, staff development, and recruitment while ensuring program performance, regulatory compliance, and strong collaboration with schools,

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a human services field.
  • Active or provisional North Carolina licensure (LCMHC(A), LCSW(A), or LMFT(A)).
  • At least 1 year of experience working with children and families in a similar setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mental health practices, regulations, and service delivery models.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and mentor IIH team members through regular supervision and team meetings.
  • Oversee service delivery to stabilize home environments and prevent out-of-home placements.
  • Ensure high-quality, evidence-based care and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with leadership to meet program goals, manage budgets, and expand impact.
  • Provide crisis guidance and participate in on-call rotation to support staff and families.

What You’ll Do

Lead Clinical Excellence

  • Oversee the delivery of intensive, family-centered services designed to stabilize home environments and prevent out-of-home placements
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to your team, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care
  • Participate in or oversee assessments, treatment planning, and service delivery to meet each family’s unique needs

Drive Meaningful Outcomes for Families

  • Help families develop skills to manage behavioral and emotional challenges
  • Support youth through individual and family therapy, skills-building, and crisis intervention
  • Connect families to vital community resources such as schools, healthcare providers, and social services

Supervise & Develop Your Team

  • Lead, coach, and mentor IIH team members through regular supervision and team meetings
  • Support staff development, performance management, and ongoing training
  • Partner in recruiting and onboarding new team members to build a strong, mission-aligned team

Manage Program Performance

  • Oversee program operations, including service utilization, outcomes, and continuous quality improvement
  • Ensure services meet regulatory requirements and documentation standards
  • Collaborate with leadership to meet program goals, manage budgets, and expand impact

Be a Responsive Leader

  • Provide guidance during crisis situations and ensure timely, effective interventions
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to support staff and families when urgent needs arise
  • Help ensure continuity of care through strong aftercare planning and support

What You’ll Need

  • Master's degree in a human services field

Requirements

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of Master's Degree and 1 year experience in a human service field and North Carolina licensure or provisional licensure in one of the following disciplines: LCMHC(A), LCSW(A), LMFT(A); Plus a minimum of 1 year experience working with same or similar client population required.
  • Requires knowledge and the ability to practically implement mental health regulations and clinical services.
  • Requires effective communication, decision making, analytical, interpersonal, leadership and professionalism skills and abilities.
  • Must have basic computer and math skills.
  • Must have a valid North Carolina's Driver's License.
  • Must submit to and pass pre-employment drug screening, criminal, HCPR and driving checks.

  • The employee must occasionally travel to different locations in the course of work.
