Job summary
Children’s Hope Alliance in North Carolina seeks an ACTT Team Leader to guide a multidisciplinary team and oversee clinical care for youth with complex behavioral health needs.
You will supervise staff, drive service quality, and collaborate with partners to ensure coordinated, family-centered care while maintaining a small direct caseload.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a human services or clinical field is required.
- Two years post‑licensure preferred and leadership experience.
- Active North Carolina clinical license (LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT or equivalent).
- Experience with evidence‑based practices and community‑based treatment models.

As an ACTT Team Leader, you’ll guide both clinical care and team performance—ensuring children and families receive coordinated, high-quality, community-based services that promote stability, healing, and long-term success.

- Master’s degree in a human services or clinical field
- Active North Carolina clinical license (LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, or equivalent)
- 3–5 years of experience working with children with serious emotional or behavioral needs
- At least 2 years of experience in leadership, supervision, or team management
- Experience with evidence‑based practices and community‑based treatment models
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills
- Valid NC driver’s license and ability to travel within the community
This is a flexible, hybrid role that includes community engagement, clinical oversight, and team leadership. Some evening, weekend, and on‑call responsibilities are required to support both staff and families.

- Leadership: Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other appropriate individuals
- Knowledge and at least 3–5 years’ experience in the treatment of children with serious emotional disturbance, with a minimum of 2 years post‑graduate school experience, preferably in a community‑based model of treatment.
- Knowledge obtained through completion of a Master degree curriculum in appropriate discipline from accredited institution.
- Valid clinical NC license in a human service related field (i.e., Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Psychological Associate, LCSW, LPC / LCMHC, LMFT, Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist, etc.) Two years post‑licensure preferred.
- At least two year’s skill and experience in staff management, leadership and clinical supervision.
- Skill and experience in delivery of Evidenced‑Based Practices.
- Skill and experience in group, individual and/or family counseling as appropriate.
- Knowledge of state and federal rules and regulations governing confidentiality, 42CFR/HIPAA.
- Knowledge of local, state and federal program administration regulations.
- Demonstrates a high standard of professional conduct and ethical behavior that will enhance the quality of care and encourage positive interactions among staff.
- Valid driver’s license
