  • Experience providing individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and caregivers in community or home-based settings.
  • Strong skills in clinical assessment, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and evidence-informed therapeutic approaches.
  • Ability to maintain clear, concise documentation and manage caseload responsibilities in compliance with agency and System of Care standards.
  • Proficiency in communication, collaboration, and relationship-building with clients, families, schools, and community partners.
  • Comfort with hybrid work, including travel within Union, NJ and surrounding areas, and basic technology skills for telehealth and electronic records.
  • Commitment to ethical practice, cultural humility, trauma-informed care, and ongoing professional development.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills are beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct clinical assessments and develop/implement treatment plans.
  • Provide intensive in-community counseling including individual, family, and group interventions in homes, schools, and community locations.

Role Description

The IIC Therapist is a full-time, hybrid role based in Union, NJ, with opportunities for some work-from-home scheduling. The therapist provides intensive in-community counseling to youth and families, including individual, family, and group interventions in homes, schools, and community locations.
