Job summary

Foundation Medicine is seeking an IHC Technician to support routine testing in a high complex clinical laboratory. You will work with IHC technologists, handle and label slides, perform QC steps, and assist in staining processes while maintaining sample integrity.

Onsite at our Morrisville facility, you will document results, manage reagents, and use LIMs and Excel to track data. A focus on HIPAA compliance and quality control will be essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in a regulated laboratory or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with HIPAA requirements and patient data privacy.
• Ability to learn new tasks quickly and follow procedures precisely.

Responsibilities

• Support IHC laboratory technologists in high complex patient testing.
• Sort, label, and maintain integrity of samples for testing.
• Perform QC/verification on specimen receiving and staining steps.
• Document processing, logs, and reagent labeling accurately.
• Operate staining automation and manual equipment as needed.
• Utilize LIMs and MS Office for data entry and record keeping.
