Job summary

Sakura Finetek USA, Inc. seeks an in-field Applications Support specialist to support immunohistochemistry instrumentation and reagents at hospitals, labs, and research centers. You will participate in installation, evaluation, and operator training across sites.

You will conduct onsite antibody/probe evaluations, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to customer training programs while maintaining high customer satisfaction. Occasional travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or A.A. with relevant experience.
• HT/HTL (ASCP) certification required; QIHC certification desired.
• 5+ years in immunohistochemistry/histology or equivalent in clinical/industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Participate in installation and evaluation of IHC instrumentation sold to hospitals, labs, or research facilities.
• Conduct comprehensive onsite antibody/probe evaluations.
• Provide on-site operator training and ongoing support.
• Address complex application, instrument, and training issues in the field.
• Deliver Advanced Operator Training and follow-up training for customers.
