Job summary

Northeast Family Services is seeking in-home behavioral therapists to join our Massachusetts-based team. IHBS therapists provide structured, strength-based interventions in clients’ homes to address youth behavioral needs and to support caregivers in understanding and improving family dynamics.

The role offers supervision for licensure, opportunities for growth, and a comprehensive benefits package as part of a rapidly expanding agency in the community.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, special education or related human services field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children, youth and families in a home or community setting highly desirable.
• Experience with behavioral-emotional disorders preferred.
• Experience with children on the autism spectrum desirable.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable access to a vehicle.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. No visa sponsorship at this time.
• Access to a laptop, internet, and a phone for FFS positions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured, strength-based therapeutic interventions in a client’s home to treat youth behavioral needs.
• Support caregivers to understand children’s needs by exploring behavior patterns and improving communication.
• Work collaboratively to enhance family functioning and youth outcomes.

The In Home Behavioral Therapist (IHBS) will provide structured, consistent, strength-based therapeutic interventions in a client’s home for the purpose of treating a youth’s behavioral needs. IHBS Therapists support caregivers to better understand their children’s needs by exploring patterns of behavior and improving communication.

Compensation

• Fee-for-Service: $50 to $70 per hour
• Full-Time: Salary $64,000 to $72,000
• Incentive Rate $60/hour over productivity
