• Valid NYSDOL Asbestos Air Sampling Technician License required.

Job Summary

We are hiring an IH Technician 1 for the 5 Boroughs in NY to be responsible for conducting indoor air quality assessments and environmental monitoring in various settings. You will collect samples, analyze data, and assist in the identification of potential hazards to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Minimum Requirements

• NYSDOL Asbestos Air Sampling Technician and Project Monitor License
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years experience performing asbestos project monitoring duties

Technical Requirements

• OSHA 30 hour Certification
• NYSDOL Asbestos Air Sampling & Project Monitor Certificate

Other Miscellaneous Qualities

• Ability to travel throughout the 5 Boroughs in NYC
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Job Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To

• Perform air sampling and project monitoring duties during asbestos abatement in compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations
• Assist with other environmental duties as needed
