Qualifications

• 3 years experience analyzing samples using PLM, PCM, and TEM methodologies.
• Responsible for QA/QC activities under the supervision of the lead Quality Manager.

Responsibilities

• Perform sample preparation and analysis using PLM, PCM, and TEM methods.
• Conduct equipment calibration and maintenance as required.
• Complete quality reports with signatures and relevant information.

We are seeking a IH Lab Technician 2 to join our New York, NY team! Come join us!

Job Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Sample preparation and sample analysis by PLM, PCM and TEM methods
• Equipment calibration and equipment maintenance
• Sample log in and log out as needed
• Quality report completions with signature , dates, and quality information
• Responsible for QA/QC activities under the supervision of the lead Quality Manager
• Participation in Audits, Proficiency tests and all Quality related activities
• Checking data generated during proficiency tests and round robins
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree required
• 3 years experience analyzing samples in different matrixes and using PLM, PMC and TEM methodologies.
• Will accept another level degree with 5-10 years experience
• 3 years that include analytical experience and quality assurance responsibilities
• Responsible
• Punctual and flexible with time
• Able to multi-task and able to work weekends and night shifts
  
  

Technical Requirements

• Will work directly with the Quality Manager
• PLM, PCM certifications
• Capable to use Excell, Word, Outlook
• Knowledge of ELAP, NVLAP methodologies
  
  

Other Miscellaneous Qualities

• Must be a team player able to share responsibilities , multi task and be flexible with time.
  
  

Compensation

$20 - $30 hourly

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state’s law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
