Job summary

Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. is seeking a SCADA Engineer in Colorado with expertise in Inductive Automation Ignition and AVEA PI.

The role focuses on supporting OT equipment, data flow, and reliability across gas, solar, and wind assets. You will work with site managers and engineering teams to deliver compliant, high-availability control and data systems, including development of dashboards, alarms, and historian integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3–6 years of relevant experience.
• Mandatory: expert in Inductive Automation Ignition and AVEA PI.
• Experience with Renewable and Gas power systems.
• Familiar with OT equipment such as SCADA systems, RTU, PI data historians, OPC, Modbus, etc.
• Ignition certification preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with scripting languages; Python preferred.
• Knowledge of power plant components and renewable projects.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Ignition SCADA system components and alarms.
• Manage OT SCADA equipment, including servers and configurations.
• Develop data flows and displays in Ignition Perspective for analytics.
• Troubleshoot connections between OT equipment and SCADA systems.
• Maintain data connections between OT and corporate data servers and OPC/RTU servers.
• Coordinate with IT as primary contact for plant operations.
• Provide NERC CIP guidance to ensure asset compliance.
• Support SCADA lifecycle refresh and internal AI initiatives.
