Job summary

SCRAM Systems is seeking a full-time Service Technician in San Jose, CA, to install, service and remove Ignition Interlock devices in cars, trucks and commercial vehicles. The role involves interfacing with the PLUS system for data retrieval and reporting and educating clients on device usage.

Ideal candidates will have at least a high school diploma and some experience in automotive electrical systems; automotive alarms or remote start systems are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent preferred.
• Automotive repair experience is a plus (1 year preferred).
• Experience with automotive electrical systems preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and remove Ignition Interlock devices from vehicles.
• Use PLUS system to interface with devices for data retrieval and reporting.
• Troubleshoot issues and educate clients on proper device use.
• Provide prompt, courteous and professional customer service.
• May assist in marketing IID devices with presentations.
