Job summary
Toyota Boshoku America is seeking an on-site Engineer to design, implement, and support Ignition-based manufacturing data systems. You will collaborate with production, maintenance, engineering, and IT to boost efficiency and data visibility across plants.
The role focuses on Ignition SCADA/Perspective/Vision, SQL development, and MES integration, with responsibilities in training, upgrades, and continuous improvement. Travel about 10% is expected.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of industrial automation or manufacturing data systems experience.
- Hands-on Ignition Ignition experience and SQL development.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain Ignition SCADA and analytics apps.
- Gather requirements with cross-functional users and manage status.
- Integrate PLCs, HMIs, databases, and MES with standard protocols.
- Develop SQL queries and data processing for OEE, downtime, and quality.
- Provide level-1/2 support and coordinate with IT and vendors.
